Several years ago, I was watching one of my favorite shows — Good Trouble. And like most things that stay with you, it wasn’t just the storylines or the characters that caught me. It was the music. That theme song. It’s called Bel Ami, by Kim Bingham. Bel Ami means “dear friend” in French — beautiful, right? I remember hearing it and thinking: one day, I’m going to use that. I didn’t know how or when. I just knew.
Fast-forward, and here we are.
belle amie, a space created from that same feeling — the idea of a beautiful friend. Inspired by Meghan (Markle) Sussex's The Tig, Belle Amie is my version of that soft landing place. Somewhere to slow down, savor life, and celebrate the magic in small, everyday moments.
Kind of like when a recipe feels less about the food and more about who you share it with. Or walking into a new city and feeling instantly at home. Or when a friend says just what you needed to hear, without even knowing you needed it.

belle amie is the dream I’ve carried quietly in my heart — a dream that I’m finally bringing to life.
I'm Je'Kendra Robinson! I am a mom of six incredible, gifted children who have taught me more about love, growth, and resilience than anyone else ever could. I’ve known what it’s like to give everything to everyone else and still wonder where I fit in my own story. I’ve walked through love, loss, heartbreak, divorce, healing, and rebuilding — and yet, here I am, choosing to believe there’s beauty still waiting for me.
I’m a future MD-PhD candidate, because I believe you’re never too old to chase what sets your soul on fire. I’m also a home chef, who finds peace in cooking meals from scratch, often using herbs and veggies from my hydroponic garden. I’m a candle maker who creates light when life feels dark, a woman who loves fashion and beauty because they remind me of the power of feeling good in my skin. And yes — I’m a gamer, because sometimes play is healing, too.
Bellamie is my way of gathering all of these pieces — the
mother, the dreamer, the healer, the creative, the woman still becoming — and offering them to you.
This is a space for women like us. Women who carry a lot and still choose beauty.
